Mykola Knyazhyts’kyi is going to launch a new TV channel Print

This March, a new cable satellite TV channel TVI starts broadcasting. Mykola Knyazhyts’kyi, the director general of TVI, told MediaBusiness about details. According to him, the TV channel is going to be notable for film premieres broadcasts and its own production series. Vitaliy Portnikov took a position of the TVI’s analytical news anchor.   

 

“This TV channel is designed for those residents of large cities who have access to cable TV”, Mykola Knyazhyts’kyi told MediaBusiness. “It is going to be a high quality cable TV channel which will broadcast film premieres and premieres of Russian and foreign series. Besides, we are going to shoot our own series in Ukraine especially for this TV channel. Primarily we plan to make an analytical TV program. On 1 September, the TV channel’s lineup must change and we’ll start broadcasting daily news and authorial TV programs”. Vitaliy Portnikov, a former editor-in-chief of the Gazeta 24 newspaper, took a position of the TVI’s analytical program anchor.
