The February slogans in Ukrainian cinemas were “Hail to the Ukrainian cinematography!” and “Gigantomachy”. A kind of a love triangle has been formed between the Ministry of Culture and Arts of Ukraine, which obliges cinema distributors to dub all foreign films in the state language; the cinema distributors which do not mind dubbing the films in Ukrainian but ask the government for assistance in the social advertising and anti-piracy campaign; and a poor Ukrainian cinemagoer which feels offended as nobody has any regard for his opinion.
