From January to March 2008, a number of Ukrainian cable TV operators’ subscribers grew by 4.3%, or 138,000 (as compared to the 4^th quarter 2007), and reached 3.375 m people. This was told in the official statement of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, as Ukrainski Novyny [Ukrainian News] reports.    

Home subscribers amounted to 3.363 m, or 99.6% of the total number of subscribers.

A number of subscribers in Kyiv amounted to 608,433 (18% of the total number), in Dnipropetrovsk region – 433,111 (12.8%), in Donetsk region – 258,682 (7.67%). The least number of subscribers was registered in Chernivtsi region – 22,549 (0.68%).
