The Industrial Television Committee
forbade the National Council of Ukraine
on Television and Radio Broadcasting from using the Teletriumph trademark
without proper permission. This is
stated in the letter the organization sent to the state body yesterday.
The
Teletriumph National Television Award was
established in 2001 year. This year, applications for participation should be
filed from 16 to 30 June. According to the Teletriumph Regulations, those
authors’, collectives’ and TV companies’ (organizations’, studios’…) works,
that were broadcasted for the first time from July 2007 to June 2008, may
participate in the contest.
Industrial
Television Committee (ITK) is the industry association
which is engaged into the protection of the Ukrainian TV marketers’ interests.
It was founded on 27 August 2002. The committee unites the highest rated Ukrainian TV channels: Inter,
1+1, Novyi (New), ICTV, STB, Ukraina, TET, NTN, M1, M2, TONIS, and Megasport.
Together they make more than 77,6% of the national TV audience attention. Other
members of the association are advertising agencies Publicis
Groupe Media (earlier known as DMD&B/Starcom MediaVest Group), Provid/BBDO,
Іnіtіatіve medіa and FCB MA,
and large advertisers like Ukrainian representatives of Coca-Cola, Unilever and
Procter&Gamble and Gillette.
