The group Stage of Euro 2008 gave Pershy Natsionalny TV channel average audience share of 10.15% Print

Broadcasting the matches of the European Football Championship 2008 group stage secured Pershy Natsionalny [First National] TV channel a solid growth of its figures. The average audience share for these broadcasts (aired from 7 to 18 June) reached 10.15%, the rating was 2.90% (among people aged 18 years and over, the all-Ukrainian TV panel).

 

As a comparison, the average audience share for Pershy Natsionalny in May was 2.39%, its rating was 0.32%. During the previous months of 2008 year the figures were about the same. Due to Euro 2008, the average audience share in June (as of 19 June) increased to 4.26%, and the rating to 0.52%.

Russia vs Switzerland: audience share 15.71%, rating 4.50%

Poland vs Croatia: audience share 5.79%, rating 1.74%

France vs Italy: audience share 12.89%, rating 3.68%

Netherlands vs Romania: audience share 5.53%, rating 1.57%

 

Pershy Natsionalny [First National], or UT-1, is the National TV company of Ukraine. It was established in 1939 year. The channel is oriented at people aged 18 years and over, its technical coverage reaches 97%.
