Telegraaf Media Group publishing house invited the former editor-in-chief of Ekonomicheskie Izvestiya [Economic News] newspaper to take the chief editor’s office at Obzor [Review] free daily newspaper. The first newspaper issue signed by m-r Svirko was published on 25 June.

According to Roman Borysko, the director of Obzor, the employment arrangement with the new editor-in-chief is going to be executed within the next few days. “In the beginning of the year, we developed substantially our distribution system and increased advertising revenues. Now, we are aiming at improving the quality of the publication’s content. We invited Yury Svirko to complete this task”, said m-r Borysko.

Oleh Kobenyok, the former editor-in-chief of Obzor daily, left of his own accord more than a month ago.

Obzor daily newspaper is a product of Telegraaf Media Group Ukraina publishing house, which publishes in Ukraine such magazines as Panorama, Domus Design, Mayster, What’s On, Lyubimaya, GLANCE, and develops eMarket.ua and whatson-kiev.com websites.
