On 31 July, Borys Lozhkyn, the president of United Media Holding spoke at the meeting of the European Business Association PR Committee, making a presentation “Objectives & Scopes of Dynamically Growing Ukrainian Media Market”. 

Borys Lozhkyn shared his view of the current state and development perspectives of the Ukrainian media market, told about the UMH’s experience of entering the international stock market and working on the Russian market. The president of UMH also told about the company’s strategic plans for the nearest future.

According to Borys Lozhkyn, UMH will enter the TV market as early as this autumn. “It’s going to be a niche satellite TV channel with the distribution network in cable. We’ll announce about it in September, and the deal is closing right now”, he said.    

The president of UMH also told that the company prepares for IPO at the London Stock Exchange in 2012 year. “In 2012 year we’re going to conduct the large IPO in London. By that moment, I hope, the company’s capitalization shall exceed $1 billion”.
