From September 2008, English Club TV channel will be broadcasted by cable networks of Ukraine. As of today, more than 20 contracts with Ukrainian cable operators have been signed. It was reported in the company’s press release, available for MediaBusiness.

As the TV channel’s deputy general producer Natalya Vasylenko told MediaBusiness, the broadcasting of English Club TV has been negotiated with cable operators of Odessa, Mykolaiv, Harkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Donetsk, Slavutych, Kryvyi Rih, Lysychansk and a number of other cities. As for analogue TV, the cost persubscriber for the channel will amount to UAH 0.38-0.45, as for digital – UAH 0.70-0.90.

According to Andriy Semchenko, the director of Klass media agency which since 14 July has been selling rights for the rebroadcasting of English Club TV channel by cable networks in the territory of Ukraine and Moldova, by the end of 2008 year the TV channel must cover about 30-40% of Ukrainian cable networks, and by the end of next year this share must reach 60-70%.          

English Club TV multimedia project (Dnipropetrivsk) was launched in January 2007. The project includes www.english-club.tv Internet portal, 3 radio stations (English Club Radio, English Business Radio & English Kids Radio), and the TV channel.
