
| The companies of VoliaCable group are going to increase their capital stock, - by Interfaks-Ukraina |

JSC Kievskie Telekommunikatsionnye Sistemy
[Kyiv Telecommunicational Systems] (KTM) and JSC IVK (both based in Kyiv),
included in the control structure of VoliaCable group, are going to increase
their capital stock each by UAH 25 million through additional issuance of
shares. As Interfaks-Ukraina reports, the question will be considered at the
meetings of the companies’ shareholders, which takes place on 6 October.
KTM is going to issue 250,000 shares UAH 100, which will increase its
capital stock twice, up to UAH 49.05 million. IVK is going to issue 500,000
shares UAH 50, which will increase its capital stock more than 15 times, up to
UAH 26.75 million.
VoliaCable is the
largest Ukrainian cable operator. The company offers its subscribers access to packages of cable
TV programs (Volia Premium TV brand) and to Internet resources (Volia Broadband
brand). According to the company’s data, it serves more than 700,000
subscribers in Kyiv, Lviv, Alchevsk and Chernivtsi. The company offers analogue
and digital cable TV services, high-speed Internet access services, voice
communication and data center services. In 2007 year, the company’s net profit
increased 10 times compared to 2006 and reached UAH 8 million. Its total
revenue increased 1.5 times and reached UAH 270 million.
