The representative of BBC TV channel (Great Britain) Richard Veghorn is going to participate in the II International Forum “Digital Broadcasting in Ukraine”, which takes place in Kyiv, in the conference hall of Radisson SAS hotel, on 19 September.

As reports the Forum’s coorganizer, Industrial Television Committee of Ukraine (ITCU), the visit of m-r Richard Veghorn is purposed to give advice on the Ukraine’s transition to digital format of broadcasting.

Industrial Television Committee (ITK) is the industry association which is engaged into the protection of the Ukrainian TV marketers’ interests. It was founded on 27 August 2002. The committee unites the highest rated Ukrainian TV channels: Inter, 1+1, Novyi (New), ICTV, STB, Ukraina, TET, NTN, M1, M2, TONIS, and Megasport. Together they make more than 77,6% of the national TV audience attention. Other members of the association are advertising agencies Publicis Groupe Media (earlier known as DMD&B/Starcom MediaVest Group), Provid/BBDO, ²n³t³at³ve med³a and FCB MA, and large advertisers like Ukrainian representatives of Coca-Cola, Unilever and Procter&Gamble and Gillette.
