The situation of Ukrainsky Tyzhden improved after the close of Novynar, - by MediaBusiness Print

The popularity of Ukrainsky Tyzhden [Ukrainian Week] weekly increased when KP Media closed Novynar magazine. Yury Makarov, the editor-in-chief at Ukrainsky Tyzhden, reported this to MediaBusiness.

Ukrainsky Tyzhden is a weekly Ukrainian-language magazine, launched in November 2007. Its volume is 84 pages A4, the stated circulation in August 2008 amounts to 30,700 copies. The magazine’s founder is ECEM Media gmbh, a Swiss company with headquarters in Austria, which was created especially for Ukrainian media projects.
