The live broadcast of Samuel Peter vs Vitaliy Klitschko fight reached a 60.14% audience share, - by MediaBusiness Print

The boxing fight between Vitaliy Klitschko (Ukraine) and Samuel Peter (Nigeria), which was broadcasted live at Inter TV channel on 11th October at 23:50, reached a 60.14% audience share and a 12.28% rating (people aged 18 and over, all-Ukrainian panel). As for the cities with a population over 50000, the audience share reached 62.29%, and the rating was 13.4%.

The World Boxing Council Heavyweight World Championship fight was held in Berlin, at the О2 World Arena. The Ukrainian boxer Vitaliy Klitschko won back his  championship belt as he defeated Samuel Peter, the current holder of the championship title.     

In 2007, Inter Media Group, K2 East Promotions company and As MediaBusiness reported earlier, in 2007 year Inter media group, K2 East Promotions poomotion company and Nemiroff alcohol brand announced cooperation in promotion of Ukrainian box. Now, all rights to broadcast fights of the leading Ukrainian boxers belong to the TV channels of Inter group.

Inter TV channel is the nationwide Ukrainian TV channel. It was launched in October 1996. The channel has 99% technical coverage (GFK TV panel). It is the part of Inter group of companies, as well as K1, K2, Enter, Enter Film, Megasport and NTN TV channels. The average daily audience share in the first half of 2008 year amounted to 22.93%, the rating was 3.54% (people aged 18+, all-Ukrainian panel). Serhiy Sozanovsky is the Inter TV channel president, and Ganna Bezlyudna is its general producer.
