Telegraaf Media Group has sold Emarket.ua, - «MediaBusiness» Print

Holland holding Telegraaf Media Group has sold its Ukrainian free private ads portal Emarket.ua. The portal became first Ukrainian asset sold by TMG after announcing the plan to sell its assets, including “Obzor” newspaper, “What’s On”, “Domus Design” magazines, and some others.
 
The deal was informed to “MediaBusiness” by Josja Zijlstra, the General Director of TMG Ukraine. Accordingly to her, the new owner is an internet projects specialized Holland investment company. Mrs. Zijlstra also announced TMG nearest future plan to sell free daily newspaper “Obzor”.

To remind the last week TMG has announced a plan to sell its assets in Ukraine, Holland, and Sweden. As “Commersant” (Ukraine) newspaper has published, TMG is planning to sell all Ukrainian assets due to their low profitability. «Our group’s goal is raising profitability. We are selling all companies with profitability index lower 15%» – Mrs. Zijlstra has told to “Commersant”.

Emarket.ua – one of the biggest Ukrainian free private ads portals. Daily audience – more than 15 000 visitors.
Telegraaf Media Group – largest media group of Holland, publishes country’s most popular newspaper De Telegraaf. The projects in Ukraine include: free daily newspaper “Obzor”, magazines What`s On, Glance, Panorama, Domus Dеsign, “Master”, “Lyubimaya”, restaurants “Gourmet Guide”. TMG total turnover in 2007 was 738.8 million euros; stocks are trade at Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
